Joyti qualified as a specialist in 2013 at Birmingham Dental School and Good Hope Hospital, and was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons following her consultant training at the Queen Victoria and Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2016. Her extensive training has provided her with a broad base knowledge of orthodontics and has equipped her with the ability to manage both routine and complex multidisciplinary cases. These cases include those with a restorative and surgical interface and she thrives off the challenge of tackling both routine and difficult cases. Her training has also given her the skill set to treat individuals with mild to moderate sleep apnoea with sleep splints.

Joyti is very passionate about the impact of orthodontics on people’s soft tissue profiles and takes this very seriously when planning treatment. She is very engaging with patients, attempting to empower them during treatment to take responsibility over their ongoing orthodontic journey.

When she is not straightening teeth, Joyti enjoys tackling hazardous mountains, abseiling off treacherous cliffs and skydiving. She also enjoys running half marathons, and reading books that make her think as much about life as orthodontics.
